***Your Login ID is your Email Address (to which we sent this email).***
You can request a new password by clicking the “I don’t know my password” link.  If you have any trouble logging in or need assistance don’t hesitate to call the studio at (314) 968-3903 or email us at mjperformingarts@gmail.com.  We will gladly guide you through it.  This online system will continue to help keep class prices low, allow for efficient hassle free billing, and of course save some trees in the long run. Sorry, we do not accept checks or cash.

Tuition Payments:
Tuition payments will be split into 5 automatic payments.  Transactions will be charged to the credit card we have on file: January 8th, February 5th, March 5th, and April 9th will be for 4 weeks of classes. Your May 7th payment will be for 5 weeks of classes.  For current families, please make sure you have an updated card on file with us.  For new members, please register your card by January 8th. There is a one time annual registration fee of $20.00  A $5.00 late fee will be charged to your account for declined credit cards.  Please keep your card up to date in our system.  We will apply a $10.00 credit to your tuition for new referrals!  Limit of 3 per session. There is a 5% tuition discount for multiple family members or for multiple classes.

Drop off/Pick up:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time for your student’s class.  This will allow time to change shoes, put away bags, use the restroom, etc.  Also, please arrive for pick-up at least 5 minutes before the scheduled end time for your student’s class.  Our teachers will regularly invite parents into the classroom to view the students’ newest dances and achievements. Due to the large volume of students arriving and leaving simultaneously we cannot be responsible for individual dancers after their class is over.

Classroom readiness:
Please have your dancers ready to go at the start of class!  This means they’ve already used the restroom, they are dressed with the appropriate shoes, and their hair is pulled back, no gum.  It is not feasible to release students from class for water and bathroom breaks during class time.  This disrupts the class too much, and the teachers will not be able to keep an eye on them in the large hallways.

Also, please keep sick students home until they are symptom and fever free for at least 24 hours.  If they were not well enough for school that day, they are not well enough for dance that afternoon.

Shoes:
No outside shoes will be allowed in the classrooms.  Please bring your shoes for class with you and wait to put them on until you are inside the studio – do not walk across the parking lot in your dance shoes.  We’ve installed professional quality dance floors in all the classrooms.  The dirt and debris brought in from outside shoes will damage the integrity of the floors and could lead to safety issues for our dancers.

Acro, Ballet, Jazz and Cheer shoes (which are required) will be available for purchase at the front desk.  We will be sizing shoes for those that do not yet have them the first two weeks of class.  This will allow us to place one large order and receive the largest discounted rate possible.  Please come early to your first class so we can size your student without disrupting their class time.

Weather Cancellations:
As a rule, classes will be cancelled due to weather whenever the Webster Groves School District is closed. You will be notified via text and/or email if classes are cancelled.

Make-up Policy:
If classes are cancelled by MJPAA, a make-up date will be scheduled for the class.  As a rule, we cannot refund or prorate classes due to an individual dancer’s absences.

Cancellation Policy:
To drop out of a class and avoid future tuition payments, we must have a written request to drop from a class via email prior to tuition dates.  We cannot refund tuition.

Spring Open House:
Please mark your calendar for Saturday, January 6th, 2018. MJPAA is hosting our Spring Open House from 10:30am-12:00pm.  It will be a great opportunity to meet your teacher, sample some free classes, and enter to win Spring tuition discounts and MJPAA Swag.

2018 Recital:
Our recital will be held the weekend of June 9th-10th at the Thomas N. Keating Center Theatre at Kirkwood High School. Dress rehearsal will be held on Saturday, June 9th with Recital on Sunday the 10th. Each participating class will perform in only one Recital show. Participation in the Recital is optional but highly recommended. Dancers performing in the Recital will need to be enrolled in the same class through June in order to learn the Recital dance that they will perform. Please make sure that you register early to guarantee your dancer’s spot in the class. If for some reason you are unable to participate in the Recital, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan ahead. Additional Recital details will be available in the beginning of the Spring session.

We are so excited to welcome everybody to our studio home!  The studio is growing quickly and we can’t wait to see the new smiling faces in class alongside our returning dance families.  Don’t forget to check out the studio website, like us on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter and/or join the parent Facebook page for exciting action photos and studio updates.

Happy Handstands!
